So... who else needs THIS kind of peace right now? I know I do. I’m not sure the last time you read John 14:27 was but wow, people this is GOOD news! This would be the opposite kind of news we've got going on in this world right now in the fall of 2024! 

Today I finished this harvest balsamroot(which is a paradox because they only bloom in spring around here) growing into the sunset royal sky, in honor of The Royal Peace bringer, and of a harvest only He can produce. Thank God there is a kind of peace possible IN this world, that is not accessible through the world. Not through money, fame, power, knowledge, or any other means that is deceptively promised at a cost, but a humble heart that receives it.  Peace GIVEN, and received.

 I am not sure what people think I’m doing over here in my studio when a painting is born but it is definitely not "hmm. what should I make that people will like on their wall?" Not quite! How we generally roll over here is after colors and a piece starts taking shape, words are added, from some type of inspirational moment or remembered scratch in my journal, or a fleeting encouraging thought while I’m waking up with coffee in hand trying to untangle the days events. Thoughts are mixed with scriptures and a dream here and there. Whatever you see created here at tealpatrickart is not lighthearted. 99% of the time it is a personal reflection of what I am 'hearing', seeing or sensing from The Lord that I need to learn and hopefully, someone else needs to see too. I pray this Peace blesses you with His peace.
