The Rock
The Rock
I painted this piece after a dream I had about a huge rock. Waiting for the right words to finish this piece, I just didn't want to force it and none felt right. The piece sat unfinished for months. Just couldn't figure out what was suppose to be written. There are so many verses about The Rock, and rocks in the Psalms, but as I sat down one day in my studio, I immediately was drawn to pull this painting out, and instantly this verse came out of my mouth and found its way to brush. Thank You Jesus the Rock- thankful for His stability beneath our feet that cannot, and will not be shaken. He is present in every moment and this day of new mercies. He sets us up again on the Rock that is higher than all and gives us new perspective. So thankful for fresh manna each day, and how He helps us find it at just the right moment. I am praying He touches you this day and pulls you up on the Rock if you've felt like you were stuck on the ground. Come up higher where the air is clear and will fill your lungs with hope.
