Beauty for Ashes Poppy
Beauty for Ashes Poppy
Beauty for Ashes. Joy for mourning. Spirit of praise for heaviness. His exchanges are otherworldly.
Although I thought about using bright white for the verse as well as the main word, I felt like the focus should be the 'beauty' as in reality, the praise that brings the breakthrough should be the focus. So the whole verse is there but has to be looked for, while the orange 'fire poppies' shout for your attention as well. Fire poppies are known as being part of a flora group that specifically blooms after a wildfire and named appropriately part of the group called ‘fire followers'. Isn't it like God to create something so beautiful that only sprouts after devastation? He is saying, "Hold on, I'm coming, don't give up. Trust Me to burst onto the scene something gorgeous"
This painting I was specifically feeling drawn to create in honor of hope for those affected by California's wildfires the last few years, as well as the whole coast affected by them summer and fall of 2020.
Nothing.
NO thing and no One is beyond His power to breathe, not only life into, but BEAUTY as well
